Couldn't wait to protect my new ipad but was hugely unsatisfied with the results of the Belkin protector. It was difficult to line up and once I did, it left bubbles all over. Tried using the smoothing card provided which only left scratches on the shield. Learned that apple now does not endorse these screen protectors, guessing it's because they don't feel it's needed. Think I'll cut my losses and just be careful with the screen.

I purchased this screen overlay and found it fairly easy to put on. There were only 2 small bubbles where a couple of miniscule particles were trapped between the screen and the overlay film.
I have applied a number these overlays to iPods and digital camera screens and based on past experience, my thought is that those having the 'major bubble' issues did not place the adhesive side of the film against the iPad screen.

I own an iPad but I do not own the Belkin screen protector (yet). One strong reason for the bubbles could be because of the oleophobhic coating that Apple uses on the iPad screen and newer iPod Touch/iPhones. The same coating that is there to prevent "finger oil" from sticking to the screen may also be preventing the screen protectors from adhering to the screen. Should someone use a stronger adhesive on the screen protector, I am not sure if the screen protector will damage this coating when trying to replace/re-align it.

Couldn't wait to get a screen protector for my new iPad, but this one is not going to be it. Have applied many a screen protector in my day, so I know what I am doing. This one seemed to lay down so nicely, but I could not get the bubbles out. Dozens of them, all small, but certainly big enough to show up when the device was on. I knew better than to peel it off an try again, but I finally gave up and did just that. Big mistake. Even more bubbles and then of course the peel backed edge that would not sit back down.

This was actually the second protector I have tried, the ZAGG product was the most difficult thing ever in terms of installation, and once on, was nothing but bubbles. After an hour, crumbled it up and tossed it away.

Is the problem trying to install on such a large surface? Zero for two and still looking.

Great idea. Bad reality. I carefully followed the application instructions but i found it impossible to put on without massive quantities of trapped air bubbles. Trying to fix it only makes it worse. After two failed attempts at readjusting I gave upend threw it away. Goodbye $20. Sad. Still love the iPad. But looks like i will be keeping the screen bare.

I got this product and it's ..., where do I start?
I found the picture for this product to be deceiving.
Mine when looking at it from a top side view, the leather wasn't straight, it was a little arched.
I found The four things holding the corners of the iPad to be so poorly designed. The one on the top right blocks the iPad screen lock button, the one on the bottom right blocks one or two of the speakers and the one on the top left blocks the microphone.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

The leather is fake. I'm annoyed at the fact that it is being advertised as leather where it clearly isn't. This is plastic. For the price of $20 it's reasonable but I'd be upset if i had paid full price for fake leather. The holders work fine and they don't cover any vital buttons / parts of the iPad, so in balance it's a decent folio case. It's good enough that I won't bother sending it back to the seller and I hope it'll hold up reasonably well with time. But if I'd known beforehand that it isn't leather I would not have bought it.

My iPad is safe and sound. The case adds warmth to an otherwise cold device at a very reasonable price compared to other products. Delivery was very prompt. Thanks.

Great case, it's not beautfiul, but it is very functional. I use the plastic shell on my ipad to protect it when i take it out.
This case can hold the ipad with the plastic shell, it's a great fit. Additionally, you can pull the right two elastic bands over the case to "seal" it.
I also turn the cover over to use it as a stand, it's not the best angle, but it works in a pinch.
Overall, I think it's a great case, functional, flexible. The "leather" could be nicer, but at the price and functionality I give it an A

I purchased the iPad folio and paid extra for express shipment. It arrived in a flimsy Fedex pouch. When I opened the pouch I found the "leather" folio was only in a plastic bag, taped at the top. There was moisture in the bag so part of the folio was humid. The presentation was disgusting and as a marketing executive I am shocked that this brand would allow itself to be represented so poorly.

The bands are elasticized and as one reviewer stated will certainly lose elasticity shortly.

In addition, the needless "free" bracelet which was supposed to accompany the folio was not included in the bag or fedex envelope. Shame on the seller and the brand. Next time I will gladly spend more for a good quality item.

That Trendy Digital iPad case seems to work fine in the first week, but then the weld at the top of the seal on both sids failed allowing the case to leak, and preventing any further use, do to its inability to keep the iPad dry.

I bought this so my child can use the ipad, mainly because of Spills and even scratches. The iPad fits inside and the plastic sort of clings to the ipad so there are no bubbles. It protects great, A kid could spill anything and it would never do any damage. It is quite responsive through the plastic cover, and well I would highly recommend it if you are using it with kids. I don't think it would be my main cover unless I worked in a wet environment. I therefore give it 4 out of 5.

I received this case about a week after my ipad arrived.

The construction of this case I simply too light to hold up to daily use. It's falling apart at the seams in 3 places after 2 weeks of use!!

The fit was overly large for the ipad, which initially seemed like a good thing, as It allowed me to keep the apple iPad Case on the iPad (folded open), providing a fairly good degree of padding when picking up or putting down on hard surfaces.

I have no problems with the plastic material as far as touchscreen usability goes. It works perfectly, but the seams of the cover are thin heat crimps and have begun to fail (the case is literally separating at the seams) after nearly 0 exposure to the harsh elements that it's designed to protect against.

The double ziplock is useless if the ends of the seal don't hold up. Overall, the pouch opening and double ziplock seam is convenient but unattractive and bulky. You'll want to orient the iPad dock connector to the open side of the pouch so you can charge without removing the ipad, but when sealed and in use, you now have a floppy end on the bottom of the iPad.

Worse yet, the lanyard is oriented to the folding sealed end, making the ipad hang upside down if you use the lanyard. Not terribly useful, if you want to use it from any distance with the lanyard in use.

The "Trendy Digital" name now says it all, this product is cheap, underbuilt, poorly designed, and imho, not worthy or capable of protecting any electronic device for more than a week. Any sustained use will destroy the seams and integrity of the case.

This product appears to have been designed by bandwagon-jumpers, with little concern for its actual function.

In my opinion, you shouldn't waste your money, or risk any electronic device to this poorly designed and flimsily built case.

Unfortunately, a complete waste of money.

So far so good, had it next to the pool and in the pool (mind you while I was floating around on my raft, it didn't touch the water). I did get some water on it and it worked. I actually like this product..

Purchased it because it sounded like a great idea. It is, if you don't mind air bubbles which hamper your vision of the screen. Would not recommend. Sadly I ordered one for my son. Now we have two useless Ipad accessories.

Got the iPad after checking it out at Best Buy. Just to be clear it is not an iPhone, it is not a laptop, it is a new device that has instantly been a hit for our family. We use it to check email, watch video, and surf the web. The instant on feature and the large screen make it a fundamentally different device than any product we've used before. The interface just seems so intuitive. We have a MacBook Pro and several iPhones and an iPod touch in our family and but this feels more useful than any of these devices for common tasks as mentioned above. Oh and my wife loves the games, most of which are free on the iTunes App store.

Is it perfect, no. It is a bit heavy and don't try to read it outside. But for nighttime reading and viewing the internet, it rocks! Top apps so far are ABC, Netflix, and iBooks/Kindle. I suspect it will only get better as more useful apps are released.

When these first came out, I could not decide if I was going to get one. A friend showed me theirs and I was hooked. Have had mine a few weeks now and have to say I love it. But, I love my iPhone, so why wouldn't I. I really see the iPad as a big iPhone. The only thing that I don't like about my iPhone is the size if the screen... well that has now been taken care of. But there is more... I am finding I can use this in meeting and I don't have to take my laptop in. Reading books is great because they are in color, something my wife's Kindle cannot do. I can watch videos to and from work as I ride the bus. For someone that commutes, this is a dream come true.
Now there are issues and a new product like this will always have some. I have not had the issue with the wifi problem. It needs a stylus. I want to be able to write notes and this is not going to happen with my finger. Camera would have been nice and when the multitasking comes around this fall, that will be a nice addition. More drive space or a slot for some kind of memory card should have been there, this is a real issue with me, but other than that, I am very happy and really enjoy my iPad.

This is a wonderful device. I'm barely using my laptop anymore (only at the office.)
I did an experiment and tried to spend the entire day with the ipad without resorting to my macbook pro.
Things I did that day:
1- checked my mail, replied to messages, forwarded messages
2- Opened excel sheets, power point presentations
3- opened video attachments, viewed pictures
4- edited excel sheets, modified presentations
5- browsed the internet (atomic is a great browser that has tabbed browsing and which is free.)
6- chatted on skype, had voice calls and conf calls
7- facebook
8- had msn conversations and chats

The only things I couldn't do with the ipad was power usage things such as convert video files, etc...

Highly recommended, and brings unlimited freedom!

I don't understand all the negative reviews commenting on connectivity. My husband has no problem with staying connected with his iPad. I on the other hand cannot keep my less than 3 year old MacBook connected in the same room as his iPad. It is driving me crazy. We are using Airport. I had this problem before the iPad came into the house. Anyway my husband loves his iPad and says there is not one thing he would change about it, at least not now.

I got a chance to hold and play with the iPad that one of my student brought to me. I am not an apple fanboy, I just evaluate gadgets and buy what works for me. My first impression when it was announced is that it would be nothing but an iPod touch on steroids. After evaluating the iPad and playing with it for an hour, I still have that impression. The iPad has an upgraded processor and memory. It is faster, it has a good battery life. For the one hour I used it, I only lost about 5% of battery. It does not feel awfully big or heavy, but it is not something you carry in your pockets.

At $499 for the 16GB/Wifi, there is a great potential offered by the bigger display of the iPad when compared to Touch screen netbook. Please note that 16GB on this iPad are solid state with no moving parts.

The only reason why I would buy or recommend such a product is to use it to take notes during classes for students. If you can get a stylus and proper software to take notes, the iPad would really shine at a great value. I would recommend the cheapest iPad if you are on a budget.

The screen is clear, and feels nice to browse the web. I reviewed the 64GB/Wifi model and I picked up a decent wireless signal while I was in the university's lab, which was placed in a basement. I heard complaint about signal quality.

The virtual keyboard passes with A+. I tried to use it like a normal keyboard and I typed a couple of random sentences with no errors. It sure won't feel like a normal physical keyboard, but I think it is possible to hook wireless keyboard to it (which beats the purpose of getting the iPad)

PROS
* Virtual keyboard is very usable with minimal mistakes.
* There is a great potential of the bigger screen. The possibilities are endless: Drawing, sketching, note taking. I actually I got to impress my student with a quick anime-style drawing.
* It is not only a toy. You can use it for education. Children can learn in a fun way, and also adults may use it for note taking. Provided that apps would be available for those purposes.
* Battery life is great. I read reviews saying that it even exceeded Apple's expectation.
* More apps and things to do than Amazon's kindle

CONS
* The lack of a camera on the front really cripple the potential of the iPad (and the iPhone, iPod touch as well). You can not make video chat session using an iPad (nor iPhone or iPod Touch). Imagine if you can make Skype calls using the iPad!
* Connectivity with other devices requires iPad dock.
* I only use this for an hour, but I believe using it for too long will strain one's hand. One could consider using it on a table instead of holding it with one hand.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I advise people to only buy this if they think they will make a good use of it. Please keep in mind that you are buying a tablet computer. I wouldn't buy it in a heartbeat. I would still keep evaluating its uses that best serve me.
